WE ARE LED BY COMPASSION AND HOPE
OUR VISION FOR A BETTER FUTURE INVOLVES WOMEN, YOUNG GIRLS AND CHILDREN.
Women are the pillars that hold together their families which makes them a significant agent of change for their communities and the nation.
In rural Tanzania, where communities are culturally dense, young girls and women are mostly affected by the resource gaps in their communities due to poverty.
In 2019, Lydia Jengo, founder of AWOGA, visited a rural community in Tanzania with an initial goal to extend her reach of inspiring and empower women. This led Lydia to a rural community that epanded her vision to meet the community's needs.
